Sky Accessories

When you have chosen your Sky package it would be advisable to take a look at what Sky accessories are available which  will only go to compliment your viewing experience.

There are various remote controls that are available which can act as replacements or spares. There are three types that are available and these range in price from £14.99 to £24.99 and there is added cost of £3.50 for postage and packing.

The cheapest of these units is for the standard sky box and TV whilst the two most expensive are for the Sky plus box and Sky HD box respectively.

Another accessory which many people find to be extremely useful is the TV link. This handy piece of equipment allows you to watch the same Sky channel on another television. This is not to be confused with the Sky Multi Room option as only one Sky box is required but on the downside you are only able to view the same programme as on the main TV which is connected to the Sky Box.

Even so, these TV link accessory packs are proving to be extremely popular and are ideal if you have a second TV set in another room or separate sets in the children's bedrooms for instance.

The price of this extremely useful accessory is only £14.99 plus the usual £3.50 for postage and packing. There is also the option of including this TV link kit with a remote control which comes in at £29.99 plus p&p.

With the elderly in mind, Sky also offer a free Sky+ remote control with an easy grip. The remote control has larger graphics than the usual handsets that are on offer along with slightly raised buttons which makes the selection of channels a far easier process for people who are having difficulties. There is also a textured grip which make the handling of the unit less of a struggle and there is the option of adding a hand strap for easier use.

These accessories cannot be ordered online but instead you need to telephone the number on the website where a helpful operator will be able to process your order. Delivery is usually within 5 working days and if there is any problems with regard to available stock etc you will be notified by telephone.
