Sky Boxes

A Sky Box is primarily a digital TV receiver which allows the user to enjoy a wide range of Sky programmes. Many features are included in these Sky Boxes which means that it is extremely easy to browse through the many different channels with the option of setting up on screen reminders to alert you to your favourite programmes, along with parental controls so that you can keep an eye on whatever the children are watching. The Sky Boxes come included when you sign up to a bundle or TV pack.

The Sky+ Box is classed as the standard piece of Sky kit. There are many great Sky+ features such as record, pause, rewind Live TV and Series Link. This puts the viewer in control, and allows a lot more freedom and flexibility.

The Sky+ HD Box has all the same great features but with access to over 60‡ amazing High Definition channels. This makes everything appear brighter and more vibrant, so it's the best way to watch films and sports games.

The Sky+ HD 1TB Box has all these features too, but with increased storage. Users can record and store up to 740 of Standard Definition television, and up to 240 hours of High Definition television.

Customers can also choose a Sky Multiroom Box for their household. This enables you to view the TV service in any room of the house, so you'll require a different box for each room. There is usually a maximum of eight different boxes that can be used from one Sky installation and there is an installation fee for each box that is required.
